The flip-over design uses the reverse side of the seat cushions for the bed, creating a flat sleeping surface without turning the whole van into a compromise.

RIB Altaïr systems
The RIB Altaïr is the system we will normally discuss first for a campervan conversion. We will confirm whether its dimensions and frame arrangement suit your van before ordering.
Width and frame height
A wider bed is not automatically the better choice. We consider wheel-arch clearance, walk-through space, kitchen position, door access and how the bed will be used day to day.
Upholstery and the finished interior
The bed should look like part of the van, not an afterthought. We can discuss upholstery, matching trim and the surrounding furniture as part of the overall finish.

Are RIB beds suitable for passenger travel?
RIB systems are designed as seat/bed systems, but the exact model, components and fitting method must suit the vehicle. We will only recommend a travelling-seat arrangement after checking those details.
Will a RIB bed work with my layout?
That depends on the van, wheelbase, wheel arches, furniture, doorway clearance, storage needs and the number of travelling seats required. A quick conversation early on avoids expensive compromises later.

Yes. Our Volkswagen T6.1 demonstration van has a Skyline elevating roof and RIB bed fitted, giving you the chance to see and try both systems before deciding. Demonstrations are by appointment and subject to availability.
